Total Artificial Heart

The Total Artificial Heart (TAH-t) is an implantable pulsatile biventricular device that replaces a patient's native ventricles and valves, and pumps blood to both the pulmonary and systemic circulation systems.

The CardioWest™TAH-t is the implatable device, working with external consolle (Companion) with pneumatic drivelines for hospital use, or portable external consolle (Freedom) for daily use.
